Nu Spirit is a Welsh trance producer and DJ known off-stage as Rob Evans. His journey began at the legendary Escape Swansea in 1999, sparking a lifelong passion for trance. He has since evolved into a creator of uplifting, melodic trance that resonates deeply with fans.

Standout tracks including Eagles Call, Fire Burning, The Afterlife and Decipher have earned releases on Nocturnal Knights, Positive State, Tranceformer, Amsterdam Trance Records, Reason 2 Rise and High Voltage — with support from top-tier DJs cementing his reputation.

Recent Beatport success includes Asteroid – Decipher (NK Fusion) at #1 and Will Rees – Exodus (FSOE) at #2. Allen Watts remixed Nu Spirit & ADR’s Ready for Take Off for High Voltage, and a renewed partnership with Future Sound of Egypt continues to build momentum.

On the live circuit he has delivered sets at Trance Sanctuary (twice), Frantic at Ministry of Sound, Future Force’s Genesis, Emotional Response and Timescape Festival. Guest mixes on Infinity Radio and Visions of Trance Sessions showcase his ability to connect through classic and cutting-edge sounds.
His philosophy: make music you love, stay motivated through short- and long-term goals. Nu Spirit is a rising force in trance — the best is still to come.
